Week 46: A stand-up show, more music writing, and giving "gaming support"
Weeknote #46.25, from to .
Published on .Listened #
- To Yuuf's Mt. Sava.
- To Rosalia's LUX. Listened to it at least once per day. This might be my album of 2025.
Watched #
- Continued I Love L.A. in HBO Max with episode 2.
- Continued Ghosts' season 2, with episodes 9 to 13. My current favourite comfort show.
- Went back to CITY: The Animation with episodes 5-6. Episode 5 was superb! Half of it is multiple stories shown in parallel (which invites repeat viewings to actually absorb all that's happening) and the ending is an amazing piece of animation work.
- Started rewatching season 2 of The Expanse.
Played #
- Started MotionRec on Steam Deck. Another neat, minimalist, short puzzle-platformer with fresh mechanics.
- Restarted Nobody Saves The World. I bought this one years ago but then it didn't keep me hooked so I shelved it. It feels like this time I might keep up with it. Art style is bit too weird for me but it's funny and has lots of variety.
- Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at a good friend's house; she needed some help in The Depths and on the "final" quest at
.
Moved #
- Played 10 matches of table tennis at the office across two days.
Went out #
- ⭐ To Comedy Café to watch Angelo Colina's stand-up show, with my wife and a friend. It was a blast and met a couple of nice people from Venezuela.
- To a wild wild west-style costumes party at Tiqets HQ.
- To a good friend's place for a "gaming support" session where we help her progress in Zelda games. The whole thing was also an excuse to hang out and catch up. Eventually more friends and my wife joined and we had dinner together. Also, a friend gave me a nice gift they brought from Tokyo! Great times.
Created #
- Finished writing and recorded guitars for a first demo of an instrumental thrash-metal song, for now codenamed Harp(ie)s.
