Week 50: Hadestown, parties, and a new song
Weeknote #50.25, from to .
Published on .The weekend was packed! On Friday I went to the company's Christmas Party at House Of Watt; played bingo, got a handful of gifts, had drinks and a hot dog, then went to the after party back at our office and continued dancing and even played some table tennis.
On Saturday we went to a very dear friend's 50th birthday party at his place. It was a costume party and the theme was "space mystique", so we dressed up accordingly. I released and presented Kindness Inspires Radical Actions Neverendingly, the song I wrote as a gift to him. We danced a lot, took a bunch of pictures, and ended up staying until almost 5am! Great times.
Finally, on Sunday I went to Theater de Cameleon to see an abridged version of Hadestown performed by a musical workshop group which included my wife! She performed as one of the Fates for Act 1 and then as one of the underworld workers for Act 2. It was a smallish production that was put together in 5 weeks, but the result was fantastic and truly charming.
